With over 15 years of experience in psychological therapy, I strive to guide people to make the changes they want.I work from the Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).My work with neuropsychological and health psychology groups helps me understand interactions between chronic health conditions, cognitive concerns, and emotional regulation. I also work with traumas, adjustment disorders, anxiety, and depression. Understanding you begins with understanding your perspectives, history, and goals. It is vital for me to know your values, understand your worldview, and teach skills to cope. This is to help you hopefully feel better

Fields Psychological is owned by Dr. Danelle Fields, Psychologist, and Mr. Ron Fields, Operations Manager.
Dr. Fields is a licensed psychologist who earned a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from The University of Akron. Previously she obtained a B.S. in Psychobiology and B.A. in Psychology from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA in 1994 and an M.S. in Organizational and Human Relations Management from Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN. Her pre-doctoral internship was at Lancaster General Hospital in the Department of Behavioral Medicine & Neuropsychology in Lancaster, PA. She has post-doc training in neuropsychological assessment from Memory and Psychological Services, Inc., Brecksville, OH.
Dr. Fields practices telehealth, individual psychotherapy, and psychological evaluations including Dementia and Cognitive Evaluations, Compensation & Pension evaluations for veterans, and Pre-surgery Bariatric and Spinal Cord Stimulator Psychological Evaluations. She is a PsyPact provider which means she can practice telehealth in 40 out of 50 states. She mentors psychology doctoral students with disabilities. She is a committee member for the Education Committee through the Ohio Psychological Association (OPA). She has provided continuing education training for various topics including psychological and medical interactions with psychological factors including Long COVID, autism spectrum and developmental disabilities, cancer, neurological conditions, stroke, heart conditions, pain, and fibromyalgia.
Mr. Ron Fields is part owner of Fields Psychological, LLC. In his role with the business, he works as Operations Manager. So, his voice may be the one you hear when you call for an appointment or if you need something from the practice.In his other jobs he works for the Ravenna Police Department as the Assistant to the Chief. He also teaches Introductory Writing and Composition for The University of Akron.
